One more light the bowl shall brim,
Shining beyond the frosty weather,
Bright as sun and moon together.
People, look east and sing today:

Love, the Star, is on the way.

People, Look East” by Eleanor Farjeon
The United Methodist Hymnal, No. 202

 Questions for Reflection:

Why does it mean that Jesus is the bright and morning star?

In what ways is God your light in the darkness?

In what ways is God calling you to shine your light for Jesus?

Prayer:

Shine in my heart , Lord, Jesus.  Show me how I am called to testify to your light this Advent. Love, the Star, is on the way. Amen.
